Youth Fishing Derby in the City of Gloversville
Join us on Saturday April 25 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the 12th Annual Youth Fishing Derby at Wohlfarth's Pond. This event is open to children of Gloversville 15 and under. Bring your own poles and earthworms. This will be a hook and worm, catch and release competition. No Mealworms. No corn. No pheromones. One pole in the water per child.
Registration starts at 9 a.m. and will be open throughout the day.
Trophies will be awarded for the most fish caught, largest fish caught in each age group, first fish caught and smallest fish caught. Each child who catches a fish will receive an award ribbon in recognition of their accomplishment.
Refreshments will be available for purchase.
