Job Purpose
:
The purpose of this job is to maintain all internal/external structural & mechanical integrity of all Hospital/Nursing Home properties and equipment.
Education
:
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent education.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
None.
Experience:
Possess 1-year level of experience in commercial, institutional or industrial plant maintenance. Demonstrates mechanical and electrical ability.
Preferred:
Possess 2- year level of experience in healthcare plant maintenance, with an understanding of carpentry, mechanical, plumbing and electrical methods and techniques.
Knowledge:
Basic fundamentals of mechanical equipment; including: pumps, fans, boilers, HVAC equipment to appropriate to the needs of the facility.
