Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Available Shift: (10p-6a)
RESPONSIBILITIES
LPN Job Duties:
- Vital signs: Monitoring and recording patient vital signs, such as blood pressure
- Medication: Administering medication orally or intravenously, as needed.
- Wound care: Changing wound dressings and performing primary wound care
- Patient records: Maintaining accurate patient records, including medical history, allergens, fluid and food intake, and output
- Communication: Communicating changes in patient health or behavior to nurses, doctors, and family members
- Care planning: Participating in patient care planning and developing individual nursing care plans
- Recording: must record details of residents, including vitals and temperature
Valid LPN license for NYS
Must be in good standing with the State Registry
Must work as part of a team
